Notarized Documents apostille in Maryland

Affidavits, consent letters, declarations and any document notarized in Maryland.

Route: Notarized by a Maryland notary public → Clerk of the Circuit Court certification → Maryland Secretary of State apostille → shipped to you

Affidavits of single status, travel consent letters for minors, sworn declarations and copy certifications are all apostilled the same way.

Maryland requires one extra step for notarized documents: the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county where the notary is commissioned certifies the notary's signature first. Only then will the Secretary of State issue the apostille. Many people send documents straight to Annapolis and get them back rejected. We take care of the court step for you.

Documents notarized in another state must be apostilled by that state, not Maryland.
