Terms of service

Have these terms reviewed by a lawyer before publishing.

Our service

Apostille Maryland is a private courier and document preparation service. We submit your documents to government offices for apostille or certification on your behalf. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with the Maryland Secretary of State, the Maryland Judiciary or the US Department of State. We do not give legal advice.

Acceptance of documents

Government offices decide whether to issue an apostille, and foreign authorities decide whether to accept a document. We cannot guarantee either decision. We review documents before filing to reduce the risk of rejection.

Fees

Our service fees and pass-through government fees are listed on our pricing page and confirmed on your invoice. Government fees are not refundable once paid. If an office rejects a document because of a problem with the document itself, our service fee is still due.

Turnaround

Filing times are estimates. Government processing and shipping times are outside our control.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the service fees you paid for that order. Use a trackable shipping method when sending documents to us.
