Birth Certificate apostille in Maryland

Certified Maryland birth certificates for citizenship, residency and marriage abroad.

Route: Certified copy from the Maryland Department of Health, Division of Vital Records → Maryland Secretary of State apostille → shipped to you

Foreign governments ask for an apostilled birth certificate for dual citizenship, residence permits, marriage registration and school enrollment.

The apostille is placed on a certified copy issued by the Maryland Division of Vital Records. A photocopy, a hospital souvenir certificate or a notarized copy of the certificate will not be accepted by the Secretary of State.

Many countries also expect the certificate to be recently issued, often within the last six months. If yours is older, order a fresh certified copy before you send it to us.
